Dario Savron has performed as soloist in Italy, Holland, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, France, Argentina, USA, Canada, Australia, and with chamber groups and orchestras among which we remember the Royal Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the Radio Chamber Orchestra of Holland, the Arena of Verona, Opera House of Rome, the Divertimento Ensemble (working also with G.Kurtag).
In the recent years he won several international and national music competitions.
D.S. has recorded also the music of C. Bolling and A. Piazzolla with the Ensemble Evasion and radio-Tv programmes for R.A.I. (Italian National Radio and Television).
His pieces were performed among others, at the International Biennale of Contemporary music in Koper (Slovenia), in several Music Festivals in Italy and also in Canada and USA and are published by Nuova Stradivarius, Milano.
During his concerts he premiered several pieces (world and national premieres) by well known composers (F.Donatoni, F.Nieder, S.Sciarrino, A.Solbiati…).
He has been teaching many percussion master classes at Universities and Conservatories in Europe, Australia, Canada, and in the USA.
He was assistant marimba teacher at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, professor of percussion at the Conservatory of Music "G.Verdi" in Milan, at the Conservatory "B.Marcello" in Venice and at the moment he is teaching at the Conservatory "N.Rota" in Monopoli.
